Emelia "Emily" Thygesen was born and raised in Syracuse New York. A proud adoptee and mental health advocate, she has over 10 years of experience working with children from all different abilities and backgrounds. Emelia was published in Counseling Today Magazine in 2017, and has worked for the National Suicide Lifeline prevention. When she is not working, or volunteering, Emelia can be found at concerts, traveling around the country, or watching documentaries with her cat.
